And Kaylee, what the hell's goin' on in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So, I'm on the phone with my mother. She's on a tear about her new job. Quotes so far "The difference between her and me is that she's crazy and I'm not". [HA!!!] "People say that academics don't function well with regular people, but I'm not like that."

I am very amused at the delusion. Just because you're not as crazy as someone else, it doesn't mean that you're not crazy.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Vortex nails it.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Heh. I knew two of the quotes, and only got four right.

The two I knew were the only ones I got. Fire-breathing fists and Queen of England.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Just because you're not as crazy as someone else, it doesn't mean that you're not crazy.

Ain't that the truth, though.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I didn't know any of them, and I got six.

I've been so puzzled as to what rhymes with "winning," but I think the light bulb just went off. Is it "sinning"?

Librarian Warlord

I think you could make a good bit of spare change taking tests for people. There are always people looking for someone to take the LSAT for them!

K and I went to Circle time at the local library. It was a zoo. I've never been to the daytime version, just bedtime stories, and I think I'm glad. Tomorrow we may go to the real zoo.

new quote: I don't want to resign, but I might, because I don't want to be around crazy people.

Me: Well, at least you have the option to resign.

I have NO option!!!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Jesse, my bottle of extra-strength 650 mg Tylenol here says, 2 caplets every 6 hours, no more than 6 caplets in 24 hours.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

This reminds me, I should thank the people at the local animal shelter. My mom's new rescue cat is slightly lame (doesn't seem to bother him, but one of his legs was broken and reset at a funny angle) and extremely clingy, therefore making him the perfect object to focus about 95% of her overprotective Crazy on.
