How far past expiration is OK to eat dark chocolate.
StillTasty says 1 year if it's opened, 2 years if unopened. So since January = fine.
And I've certainly eaten old chocolate that I've lost on a shelf and found again and had no idea how old it was. It's always been fine.
Time for Good Enough, Liese. Save your brains.
Those are pretty, bon bon, but I want to wear heels. Until it's time to change into my shiny silver chucks for dancing!
Are you wearing a floor-length dress? You probably already know this but if not, make sure the dress is hemmed for the flat shoe.
I am listening to a French pop song called "Telephone Douche". It's rather distracting.
(Apparently it translated into "Telephone Shower"?)
Like Dorothy's ruby slippers, only silver!
Pretty! I shall bookmark in case the being stretched ones don't work.

I'll talk to my dress ladies about it. I want to wear heels for as long as I can bear it and then change when I can't any more.
20 Awesomely Untranslatable Words from Around the World:
Mamihlapinatapei: Yagan (indigenous language of Tierra del Fuego) – “the wordless, yet meaningful look shared by two people who both desire to initiate something but are both reluctant to start”
Tartle: Scottish – The act of hesitating while introducing someone because you’ve forgotten their name.
Tingo: Pascuense (Easter Island) – Hopefully this isn’t a word you’d need often: “the act of taking objects one desires from the house of a friend by gradually borrowing all of them.”
“the wordless, yet meaningful look shared by two people who both desire to initiate something but are both reluctant to start”
I had to mask the laughter with coughing, but I cannot stop the tears. If only I could pronounce that. I can't even look at the screen when I'm typing, because it's going to make me laugh out loud.
Isn't that such an awesome word? I want to learn how to pronounce it so I can use it.
Timelies all!
The shoe discussion reminds me that I should start looking into on-line ordering of shoes soon, so I will have enough time to return anything I order if it doesn't fit and get a new pair before the next time I need black pumps. (January. This of course assumes that it won't take more than two tries to get a pair that fits.)
My children are lucky to be alive today. Not a good listening day and they're gnawing on my last, raw nerve.
Let me distract you then, Cash, by noting that San Francisco is having a roller derby Halloween event called Trick or Beat Down.
We also have an Addams Family / Munsters Wedding Reception starring Voltaire. It's a Swing Goth event!
And tonight I will be missing the Mos Eisley Cantina Star Wars Themed Party. (Undoubtedly playing a lot of Meco.)
I want to learn how to pronounce it so I can use it.
If that ever made it into fanfic usage--oh, can you imagine the abuse?
Of course, I never want to believe any of those lists, but some of the words are popularly untranslatable.
