Your mother lets you out like that in the middle of winter?????
Hee! At last night's Emilie Autumn concert, there were many teen gothlings teetering around in stockings, bloomers, corsets, and not much else. It was 15 degrees last night. I restrained my impulse to go tell them that they were going to freeze to death, put on a skirt at least!
A much better played game than I was expecting, but we lost 3-2. The boys didn't seem upset which is great. All the parents I heard were saying how impressed they were with how the team played. mac kicked a couple of balls and feels much more confident. The coach is being really great with him, giving lots of attention and even hugs and one-on-one instruction. My mac, he is quite the lovable boy. Grandma and Grandad came out for the game which was also great. I did yell, but not once did I yell his name. Knitting helped as a distraction.
I really want a nap, but there's a pile of clothes on my bed that *someone* has to fold and put away before I can lie down.
I may never sleep again.
After a rough week, my house is onerous central. Every room I walk into makes me sigh and step back out again.
So. I've decided that I'll just clean one 10 foot square. Perhaps then, I'll be inspired to do another 10 feet. If not, I'll at least have my one 10 foot success.
Sounds like the first game, in spite of the score, was a win.
You know what is hell? Professional development on a saturday with a room full of English Teachers. It's like the land of the blowhard opinionated people!
wait I thought that was us.
Neat. The Caltech basketball team ended its losing streak. They hadn't won a conference game since 1985.
