Where'd they get CAT scan from?... I mean, did they test it on cats? Or does the machine sort of look like a cat?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh, I'm certain I'll get my chance to interact with the Crazeee Customerz. This is the little Star Market tucked away on Beacon Street, which is the closest chain grocery store to the Harvard and Lesley campuses and dorms -- I'm sure it wouldn't still be open otherwise. There's always parking, never seems to be huge lines, et cetera.

I'm just contemplating that I will probably be getting health care insurance -- probably not great benefits -- but that will save me a bunch of money compared to buying it on my own, which makes the $9/hour go quite a bit further in my own personal down-sized economy.

I may also be joining a union!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ah -- forget it about my father, then!

That's great news about insurance.

Good news Theo.

So far today I have: napped, finished The Secret Lives of Dresses, had lunch, had a three hour nap. This rock and roll lifestyle is going to kill me.

the one thing that needs to be on that list is shovel. Winter is a jerk.

I wish I were a napper. I'm tired.

Good luck, Theo!

Floors clean and some organizing done. Table is no longer a complete disaster and all my tax stuff together in a plastic envelope.

Server still down at work. Probably will be until Monday.

Compassionately intolerant

I have to either take a nap or get off my backside. Not highly motivated to do either. hmph.

I've slept too long. I'm really groogy (ETA: I was going to fix it to groggy, but groogy seems apt.) and slow. Today is pretty much a write off for anything productive. But I did get my steps shovelled.

Is it wrong that I'm bitter about the ads for ankle-length jeans, to be worn with cute flats? We're months from that kind of weather! Your mother lets you out like that in the middle of winter?????

Hee! At last night's Emilie Autumn concert, there were many teen gothlings teetering around in stockings, bloomers, corsets, and not much else. It was 15 degrees last night. I restrained my impulse to go tell them that they were going to freeze to death, put on a skirt at least!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

A much better played game than I was expecting, but we lost 3-2. The boys didn't seem upset which is great. All the parents I heard were saying how impressed they were with how the team played. mac kicked a couple of balls and feels much more confident. The coach is being really great with him, giving lots of attention and even hugs and one-on-one instruction. My mac, he is quite the lovable boy. Grandma and Grandad came out for the game which was also great. I did yell, but not once did I yell his name. Knitting helped as a distraction.
