All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I found a notary (at my bank, who was very chatty), got groceries, and mailed the pile of papers that had been waiting to be notarized. I also spent too much at Chicago Comics.

Maybe I'll clean the litter box and do dishes before Fringe.

There was a huge tree uprooted on 39th on the way home. And good thing my trash cans are tied up; as it is, they're knocked over and the lids off.

Good swim tonight. 68 laps in 64 minutes, which is almost a best. With cooldown, 2.1 miles. Friday nights aren't so crowded lately, which is lovely. Spring I session starts next week so we'll see if it lasts.

Jesse, I'm sorry I missed the first mention of your travail.

I am probably the closest DCista to National Airport. If you need a place to rest and like dogs, you are more than welcome. I have a nice futon and am two blocks from the blue/orange line. Drop me an email and I'll forward my phone number.

o-m-g. I've been so focused on Bartleby's health this week, that I did not hear any warnings about Windmaggedon. When we woke up from a nap this evening, I looked out and my wheelie bins were both in the middle of the street (a very busy intersection), having been tossed roughly 20 feet.

CRAZY.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I am posting from a Barnes & Noble, on Gary's laptop. I got home from work to find out that our townhouse had no power.(In fact, the whole street is without power.)

Therefore, I have been unable to do any onerous tasks.

ARGH! I finally got around to watching the 2nd ep of Downton Abbey and the video cuts off halfway through! This is what happened with the first episode. GAH! bugger. It's on netflix streaming but I don't really have a good device to watch it on.

But at least my roof did not blow off today.
