"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

megan walker, if you're around and willing to take a look in France's OJ for the following proposed legislation, [link], I have a student who needs a copy, but our French is limited to menu items.

Aaaand we just lost power to critical systems. (Yes, we are still operating without a functioning UPS.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

A great house for kids: [link]

Japanese studio Level Architecs have completed a house in Tokyo, Japan, with a slide connecting all three floors.

A staircase wraps around one side of the rectangular house and the slide encircles the other.

Occupants can decide at each level whether to descend by the stairs or by slide.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Onerous task accomplished! Until the guy I sent it to inevitably screws it up and I will have to begin again.

Consuela, at my work we have to identify a beneficiary for our (work-provided) insurance, but I don't recall needing one for wages. Seems like you're right, it should just be deposited like any wage and then, not your employer's problem what happens to the money in your accounts.

Weird Vintage Ads (Outrageous!)

Some are very sexist. Some are racist. And the one with the fat pig with a child's head is pretty disturbing too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a sudden urge to bleach my hair again. But part of me doesn't want to acclimate my coworkers to it.

Corgi Meets an 11-Day-Old Nigerian Dwarf Goat

In this video we have a corgi and a cute little baby Nigerian dwarf goat getting acquainted. They seem to be having a showdown to see who is more adorable, but they are both pretty cute, if you ask me. It looks to me that both animals are trying to figure out what the other one is.

At least at the beginning, it appears the goat wants milk from the corgi.
