I'll be starting off the weekend with my Onerous Task of paper wrangling.
That's right.
Today is Onerous Task Day!
Emmett and I will hike up Tank Hill (where I proposed to JZ, and also where we took Nilly and Laura) to try to catch some snowflakes later today. Then I will have to convince Emmett that it would be suicidal to try to slide down the hill.
Actually, it might not be that hard since he bruised his coccyx yesterday and it's pretty sore.
My non-onerous task this morning is to go have have breakfast with Jen K. and her guy, Matt. I just have to rouse Emmett for that to happen.
My onerous task for today is to get as much written on a fic that's due by Monday for a challenge. I've added about 400 words so far today.
Sigh. I know what my onerous task is. The work task I've been avoiding all week.

You can do it, Sue! Do it now and cruise through the Friday afternoon. Kill it! Kill that task!
Today is Onerous Task Day!
And I celebrated it in the way of my people*: I dumped all the old cat litter, disassembled the cat box (it has parts, and a sort of sieve thing, and stuff), scrubbed all the parts, and put it together with new litter.
I'll also be taking a busted plastic Adirondack chair to the dump and hitting the gym, but those aren't particularly onerous.
*crazy old cat ladies in training.
I'm intrigued by the trailer for the porn Justice League movie they showed on IO9. Ron Jeremy
is
the Penguin.
Also, Wonder Woman threatened to use her "truth juices" if her lasso didn't work.
Go Kristen!
Thanks Burrell!
Homerun in my book, Kristen.
Thank you so much!
I was fairly terrified about how the episode would be received but most people really seemed to like it. And, as I predicted, even the ones who didn't were hooked by the cliffhanger.
I have your ep taped, Kristen, and I can't wait to watch. Well, except for how I have to.
I am on meeting #2 of 6. All of today is onerous. Well, work day.
I have no onerous tasks for today. Well, going to the grocery store. But I only have half an hour left before I have to leave for work, so I don't think it's happening.
I found a stunning 1950s circle skirt (with built-in crinoline!) at the thrift store today. It had been hacked off at the waistband. I just finished turning down the cut-off edge and whip-stitching it into place. Now I can wear it!
Sweet, JZ. Don't feel like you have to get half the share or even pick up eggs regularly, we can work something out for sharing however much y'all want. I just need to put down the last name of whoever will pick up part of the share when I sign up, everything else is flexible.
