I was also unmoved by the picture, so don't care that it turned out to be a manip. My initial reaction:
Oooh! RDJ shirtless and eyes blazing! This would be a splendid picture were it not for the unfortunate quantity of rope obstructing my view of his shirtless torso, that other piece of rope utterly spoiling the line of his mouth, and the presence in the photo of another person who is (a) fully clothed and (b) not RDJ.

Just got out of a very interesting meeting with my boss. The department chair wants us to start making alternate plans for how to move classes to off-campus locations, get brochures printed by non-campus services, food service, etc. In case of a work stoppage. Now, the chair is not a union member and I was up at the capitol with my union rep yesterday and nothing was said of a work stoppage then. So...interesting times.
The last time the state workers went on strike was 1976. Makes me wish my mother was still alive so I could pick her brains.
