Speaking of Cumberbatch.
Oooh, I think that series is playing at my local theatre.

Emmett's friend Jake slept over last night (it's ski week), so I had to feed two teenage boys breakfast this morning. Eggs, bacon, biscuits... it just went on and on.
They've been having a Steve Carrell marathon: Anchorman last night, Little Miss Sunshine this morning.
Hope for the new generation: in the scene in Little Miss Sunshine where Richard (Greg Kinnear - the father) is pressuring Olive (his young daughter) not to eat ice cream because he thinks she's too chubby, both boys were railing at him.
"Richard is such a dick!"
"Shut up Richard!"
This is depressing:
10 Agribusiness Methods That Could Fail in the Next 20 Years.
Especially this:
10) Chocolate
It's nature's anti-depressant, but within 20 years, chocolate may be the new caviar, warns the Ghana-based Nature Conservation Research Council. Says director John Mason: "[Chocolate] will become so rare and so expensive that the average Joe just won't be able to afford it." It's not just that rising demand is outstripping supply of chocolate, which is grown on cacao trees. It's also the fact that chocolate growers in Ghana and other countries have gone over to methods that are quicker, but doomed to failure all too soon.
Noooooooooo!!!
I'm kind of ridiculously excited that my favorite dressmaker is making the Oscar dress for the director of "Winter's Bone." [link]
The world won't let chocolate go away.
Besides, there's always mock-late.
Republicans Vote To Repeal Obama-Backed Bill That Would Destroy Asteroid Headed For Earth
From The Onion, of course. But here Sasha Volokh argues that in this hypothetical case:
I think there’s a good case to be made that taxing people to protect the Earth from an asteroid, while within Congress’s powers, is an illegitimate function of government from a moral perspective.
Asteroid defense and libertarianism
Note to self: Libertarianism = freaky.

Remember how CJ tried to scare the life out of me when he tried out for Guys and Dolls? He is Gambler #4 and is the guy who runs into the mission, like a complete maniac, to tell everyone to get out. Should be interesting.
I am sitting in an airport, waiting for shrift, watching Glee on Hulu, and torrenting Justified.
I do kind of like the future.
Is jealous of Dana.
Note to self: Libertarianism = freaky.
Well, there's Libertarian and Crazy Libertarian. The government should do less and tax less vs. there should be essentially no government and seem to think that basically everything would work the same without government only they wouldn't have to pay taxes anymore.
