Yuck, msbelle. I need to have my paperwork more organized than it is. It's all in one of 2 places, but it is ALL in one of 2 places, so I have to go through everything to find anything.

Survived working from home. It always makes me crazy, like I'm not doing enough, because I'm popping up to wash a dish or something, when in reality, I might be chatting about not!work with people for more time when at work.

Anyway, swim swum, going out to last-minute dinner and drinks with my soon to be ex-neighbors, who are moving to Cleveland tomorrow. We're gonna miss them.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The paperwork is really only a mess because of the move, things got separated and then I needed some stuff really early because of new drs and schools and lots of that never got re-filed correctly. Then all the new paperwork with the new insurance which is a different pile.

Well I have gone through everywhere I can think of, and while I did not find the closing statements, I did find more things to claim on the taxes and I did pull out about 4" of papers to be shred.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, thanks for reminding me to make sure I could put my hands on the tickets I'll need next week -- Good vs. Evil with Eric Ripert and Tony Bourdain!!

Oh, no, ChiKat! I hope the car is working soon, and not expensively!

I just got done with my interview for my class this weekend. I had to interview a top manager at a large public library system, and I was able to contact the head of the Milwaukee one and set up some time to talk to her. We chatted for 75 minutes, and she gave me tons of info! And, I was able to help her out some (I asked her about diversity in the community, she said that she's been disappointed at the non-diversity in the pool of available professionals looking for jobs, and I told her about a service my local library has called the Language Line, where a librarian who has a patron he/she can't communicate with can call a service that has a translator available on the other end of the phone, and I gave her the library's phone number and name of the director there for her to call about the service). She seems like she'll be a great source if I need one in future classes, and maybe someone to contact after getting my degree when I'm job hunting!

Now I've got figure out how to whittle this down to a 10-minute presentation and pick one subject out for a 3-5 page paper.

Kathy, have you ever used prezi? My favorite type of presentations are done on prezi. I'm a convert.

Actually, I've never used anything multimedia for presentations--just me talking! I'm nervous about the idea. Is prezi available online for free?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I just did a paperwork deep clean Sunday. The pile I had to shred was huge - two recycling bags full. In the process I found my high school transcript and my SAT scores. Also found my acceptance letter from Long Beach State - I really don't remember wanting to be an Interior Decorator, but that is what I had listed as my intended major. Bizarro.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
