Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Aw, poor mac. I had strep throat many times as a kid. I hope the meds do their work soon.

ETA: I don't know what's wrong with my brain, I just tried to spell throat as throught.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Strep throat is miserable; I had it tons as a kid, with some really high fevers. Scared the piss out my my folks the first 3 or 4 times.

Dan is stuck in Reagan Airport because of weather and his ex's dim-witted fucking about with the flight. We can't find a hotel under $100, so he's crashing in the airport.

I am so pissed with his ex's sheer stupidity, I am frothing. I can't even say. YOU ARE A MORON HOW CAN YOU WALK AND BREATHE WITHOUT CHOKING.

Ugh. OK.

ARGH, no, not ok, poor guy is MISERABLE, and he had to call his boss and take a vaca day he didn't have.

GRR.

Hope the meds kick in quick.

My shoulder is pissing me off. It is NOT aggravated by swimming (thank god, I might lose my mind if I had to lay off the laps,) but I've got to shovel tomorrow, and shoveling is what has pissed it off this past week. It's a dumb ache.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Holy crap. There's been an earthquake in New Zealand: [link]

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

he has had no fever, just increasingly sore throat. 5 days of meds. Now to send him to school tomorrow or no? Technically he will be contagious until about 7pm tomorrow.

No, do not send him to school. He's still contagious, and he might feel progressively more miserable tomorrow. Let the meds work.

Because books.

he has had no fever, just increasingly sore throat.

That used to happen with Ben all the time, and I missed strep until way late a couple of times because his throat *wasn't* really too sore.

Give him a day at home to let the meds start working.

Yah, billytea, saw that. It looks awful, and hit Christchurch around noon.

Are your sister and BIL okay, Sox?

I find it charming that a couple of my neighbors have taken to calling me for distraction/support when having awful commutes home. Just talked one down after watching the car ahead do a 360 and crash into the rail on one of the scary overpasses into downtown.
