Thanks for the Bittman link, Jess. I'm having a friend and her two kids over in the morning and wanted to maybe throw together an easy frittata.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I'm going to try to record the stream next time it's broadcast, Sue.
Sorry to post and run, you guys! I got pulled away for a phone call (my dad's cousin has just been diagnosed with cancer. Fuck cancer) and then had to go meet friends for dinner.
Thanks for the suggestions. Right now I am the HR Manager. I report directly to the COO. I realize the new title will be a bit out of the loop on a resume, but I like the marketing/outreach stuff I am doing and it has to be in there somewhere. We don''t want customers or clients I deal with to look me up on our website and then say "Why was I talking to someone in HR about a technical problem?" I shall gratefully take all of your suggestions under advisement. If anyone has any brainstorms overnight, feel free to post them.
Scrappy, the only thing I'd say is make sure you keep "manager" in your title. Don't demote yourself to coordinator. "Human Resources and Outreach Manager"?
Paul Lynde.
Human Resources and Marketing Manager seems to be a pretty common title.
Paul Lynde is much less common.
Also, fuck cancer.
I'm going to try to record the stream next time it's broadcast, Sue.
Woot!
I concur with the suggestions above re:title. Otherwise, I vote for "scrappy: She who is wise" or to keep manager in there, "manager of the wisdom"
...I may be a bit punch drunk on not enough sleep and a sunburn and fear I will mess up, today. En espanol.
Good luck, meara.
I just woke up from a creepy dream where I was driving down the highway and I had to weave my way around these trucks that were towing giant glass skyscrapers.
eep. feel better and no scary dreams, people.
I turned the heel on my sock last night, which I am probably more excited about than is normal. I am going to try to CRANK today and get a bunch of niggling stuff done (including at least three more resumes out). I already went to the PO, mailed out 2 DVDs. I'd love if more of my chores involved getting stuff out of the house, but alas I have not managed ebay listing in a long while.
