All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

I concur with the suggestions above re:title. Otherwise, I vote for "scrappy: She who is wise" or to keep manager in there, "manager of the wisdom"

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Good luck, meara.

I just woke up from a creepy dream where I was driving down the highway and I had to weave my way around these trucks that were towing giant glass skyscrapers.

eep. feel better and no scary dreams, people.

I turned the heel on my sock last night, which I am probably more excited about than is normal. I am going to try to CRANK today and get a bunch of niggling stuff done (including at least three more resumes out). I already went to the PO, mailed out 2 DVDs. I'd love if more of my chores involved getting stuff out of the house, but alas I have not managed ebay listing in a long while.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm so happy to have the day off! And it's snowing, so that's good -- we had almost lost all of our snow!

I'm ignoring the current forecast.

My shoulder hurts. The weird thing is, I think it is from raking leaves. It started the day after I did the one bag, then pretty much went away until yesterday. It doesn't really bother me when I swim unless I do breaststroke, but I only do a couple of laps of that. It's just...weird and annoying.

And if I don't ignore the forecast, I may be shoveling tomorrow, which doesn't bode well.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

We had beautiful snow up on the mountains yesterday morning. Actually pretty far down in terms of elevation. But, oh my, it was GORGEOUS.

Today, there is still a dusting of snow, but it's warmer. Should be up to 70 today.

When I went to pay bills, I found that I'd run out of checks and that the last time I ordered them was 3 years ago. Guess I'm not writing as many checks as I used to!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Shingles blown off by high winds replaced, 2 hours, $335. Reasonable enough. Seems like they did good work, but I could have done without the heavy sales pitch for replacing my entire roof with better shingles, for $4000, and "the price will be going up soon!" Yeah, okay. No.

Roofers got to make a living. You probably looked too sympathetic!
