WTF. I think I'm going to wear sandals and no coat. It's ALMOST NOVEMBER. (Note: sandals are just for commuting purposes.)

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I wore sandals and no coat for commuting purposes. Of course, it was partially motivated by the fear that they were the things that smelled! I also changed my bag, and put on one of the only scented things I can wear, which is burt's bees cuticle cream.
Hey Tom Scola, can I use pictures you took for background and stuff?
Sure!
Thanks! I didn't want to be a stealer, assuming this thing goes viral...
Huh. I wore shoes, tights, a sweater and a coat this morning. Plus, I turned the heat on in my bathroom.
Other heaters may be turned on tonight. It's going down to 25 here.
Meanwhile, Sophia - that woman sucks and is just wrong.
Also, I ordered a book from Amazon.co.uk and it shipped but instead of saying that my order has shipped the message they sent me said my order has been "dispatched".
Sophia, you don't smoke, right? Are you around anyone who smokes, or are there chemicals involved in any of the design work you do?
I have a dear friend whose car I absolutely can't ride in because it reeks of D O G but I'm pretty sure she's aware of the situation... and not taking her dogs with her when she goes places is not going to be a lifestyle choice any time soon.
I do smoke, but not much. She says it is not smoke (her sister and brother smoke). My downstairs neighbor smokes like a chimney (enough that it bothers me in the vestibule when I walk through it.). I have always felt that it clings to me from the vestibule for a while, but she was also claiming to still smell it when she was talking to be in my office.
I mean, I totally believe that she smells something. I think it is probably me.
Sophia, maybe her behavior was crazy enough to mention it to someone?
As far as I can see, if someone was really ripe at work I'd talk to our boss and let them address it. If, for whatever reason, I felt I should talk with them personally it would be a one-sentence deal along the lines of, "I think maybe your deoderant has stopped working for you, that happens sometimes." (No clue if that's true or not, btw) But offering to teach you to wash your clothes and give you a schedule is really beyond the pale as far as coworker interraction.
Sophia, I think it's totally natural smells that she's not used to. If she's so offended by them she probably uses all kinds of scented products on her person and in her home. I'll be willing to bet her own sense of smell is fucked up.
Chemicals fuck people up. What does she smell like?
DH is super sensitive to detergents, deoderants and other chemicals so I have to be careful about what I buy or he'll break out in rashes.
Especially if you have someone else telling you you're fine. I have a coworker who I can smell sometimes. Not in a bad way, just in a body way. But I would never say anything because clearly it's just her body and my nose.
Anyway, all I want to do today is play with the tumblr. Why do I have stupid work??
