I've totally forgotten what I used for my WX profile picture.
Me, too.
I think the archived WX files show whatever our last icons were.
I think my last WX icon was ... a photo with my hair down, that I had done for a corset modeling site.
Good lord, I am tired. The ongoing cleaning (and cleaning, and cleaning) of Dad's house is interesting. Spending time with Dad = good! Finding old family photos and such = good!
... discovering that my Mom was pretty much hoarding everything? Jarring and heartwrenching.
Oh how wonderful to come here and see wedding pictures! Thanks Hec. Made my night. It's been a long, weird day.

Yeah, I had a similar moment after my father died. I mean, I knew he had his quirks, so I wasn't surprised to find he saved the old accounting ledgers. But things like the desk drawer stuffed full of old Westward Ho! grocery bags? That was a bit upsetting.
Bags and bags and BAGS of bills. Expired prescriptions, some from my grandmother who passed away over 20 years ago. A giant plastic tub of assorted brand-new kitchen tools.
... which is part of the reason I finally decided to try this mental health thing, and am seeing a therapist. Because my Dad and I had NO IDEA that she was doing this stuff.
Ugh, that's hard.
I bump into old WX icons on my HD from time to time. The one that makes me laugh the most is the one where I manipped myself inbetween Spike and Lex. Jesus, fangirl.
Wow, Jilli, that's quite something to learn. I hope you process it well.
And now that it's tomorrow already for the board as well as for my timezone, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Jon B's birthday.
Happy birthday, Jon! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
(Also, since it's raining, and I've already whined about the badness of the infrastructure here, so I can't trust having any internet access for the next few days: tomorrow, the 21st will be Katie M's birthday, and Tuesday, the 22nd, will be Laura's birthday, so early wishes for the both of them, as well!)

I'm doing the best I can. I will say that my therapist is fantastic.
