Hi, Amy!

And, yes, thanks - I'm good. I mean, I've gained more than 20% of my normal weight, and all of it seems to be located in just the right place in order to prevent me from ever wearing socks ever again, but then, there's this thing inside of me that's growing and moving and I find myself in an ever-surprised-and-amazed state of mind whenever I feel his presence, and tankfully that happens several times a day (I mean, that's the most unbelievable amazing breath-taking thing to have ever happen to me, ever, and it happens several times each day! How odd is that?). So, yeah, all good.

The doctor says all is well, too, so I even have this in writing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hi, Nilly! I'm glad to hear you are doing well.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

megan has a pdf of wonderful slow cooker recipes

I have it! I'm just exploring CI right now, and was feeling themey.

Cake could be more moist and lemony, but I still like.

And cereal for: hi, brenda! hi, Jilli! [Edit: and sj!]

(Jilli, I've obviously been thinking about you lots and lots in the past month, but we never got to post font-to-font during those difficult days, so I never even got to try to send you any good vibes in as-much-in-person-as-possible. But you were very much in my thoughts and prayers from afar.)

NILLY GAVE ME THE SNIFFLES. I'm so glad you're feeling good, despite the unfortunate sock situation. That does happen!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I love to put things away. I'll come put stuff away at everyone's house.

Amy, DEAL. I love that plan.

I especially hate putting away clothes. It's like filing. Which I also hate. Also not keen on putting up clean dishes.

I like vaccuming, but we have hard wood floors.
