I love to put things away. I'll come put stuff away at everyone's house.
Amy, DEAL. I love that plan.
I especially hate putting away clothes. It's like filing. Which I also hate. Also not keen on putting up clean dishes.
I like vaccuming, but we have hard wood floors.
Yay Nilly! What a lovely way to describe pregnancy. I am so very happy for you and your family.
Okay, I'm forming a plan to come to L.A. and put away stuff at Kat's, with Grace and Noah's help (heh), and then stop off and put stuff away at ita's, with bonus lemon pound cake and cookies ... I'm not seeing a downside here, people. Lemme at your drawers and closets.
Nilly, that's so wonderful to read. how far along are you?
I'm glad things are going so well for you, Nilly!
Happy birthday, Beverly!
Looking at my apartment one might think that dusting was my most hated chore, as I so rarely do it. But that's because I just don't care, more than because I actively hate it. I don't like cleaning the bathroom, but I do it semi-regularly because otherwise, ewwww. Love the roomba--my carpet's never been so frequently cleaned.
I hate chores that are wet/dirty and/or backbreaking. Mopping, shower cleaning (worst!), handwashing dishes. But like Amy, I'll put clean things away with a song in my heart and a spring in my step.
Um, sometimes. I guess I should get to those dishes.
Ticklish Camel is Ticklish
A camel in the back of a truck — you have a camel in the back of your truck, don’t you? — likes to be tickled.

I just yelled at the bathtub: "Why are you dirty? When we shower, the dirt gets washed off and should go DOWN THE DRAIN!!!"
I stand by that indignation.
Thank you, Nilly. Everyone has been so kind and helpful to me and my Dad, I'm constantly blown away by it.

Good luck with your surgery! And all the recovery time following it.
how far along are you?
36 weeks. Oh, it seems a lot when I write it like that.
I just yelled at the bathtub: "Why are you dirty? When we shower, the dirt gets washed off and should go DOWN THE DRAIN!!!"
Perfect logic. Reality should conform to that.
The DH hates washing dishes so much, he always used to say that the first thing he'd get when he got married would be a dishwasher, in order to take care of that hated chore. Then he married me, and I totally don't mind washing dishes (not as much as I like folding laundry, bit still), and I said that there's really no need to buy anything which takes care of that, so he didn't. But he's still surprised each time he sees, in real time, how much I don't mind doing that.
