I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Sortable list of the 200 Borders that are closing. (so far).

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I know, right? This is seriously fucking with my morning plans!

It's still mostly sunny here.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Damn. The four five Borders I go to the most often are all closing.

Because books.

I'm surprised to see there aren't any Borders near me here. But the ones I used to go to in upstate NY are closing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

One near me is closing. I'm surprised by that, since it's in a very heavily trafficked mall. The other one near me already closed.

Coding and Sleeping

The Borders I used the most was already closed, but I see the one in Lawrence, KS is closing shop. Wow, I've actually avoided going there because it was TOO crowded.

After lazying around this morning moping, I am showered, dressed, and just did job hunt related task. I have 2.5 hours before I need to leave the house, so I should be able to crank out some stuff.

The one I used to go to in downtown Chicago closed a month or so ago. There won't be any more Borders anywhere near me to go to.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

4 in this area closing, and I'm honestly surprised they were still open this long -- they've been more or less empty for years.
