Sometimes when I'm sitting in class... You know, I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen. I think about kissing you. And it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like freeze frame. Willow kissage.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

you two are funny.

I should be grading. You know what I did today instead of grading? Made a birthday cake for my husband.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

One of the advantages of being unemployed is having the time to eat out. So I texted my friend E and we went out for drinks, which was really dinner at this great little bistro nearby. I had a flight of wine and broccoli with chili flakes, and orochiette with rabbit. NOM.

Of course, as an unemployed person I shouldn't have done that. But I hadn't spoken to a not-retail person since 6:30 AM. I deserved something.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You did! It's a fine line between doing things you "shouldn't" and saving money via sitting at home alone getting miserable. In my experience, anyway....

And ita should totally fill Kat's ball pit with cranberries, just on principle.

ARGH. We have started a new term. I have all new students in each class except AP. Grace has a fever. I feel like I need to stay here until the nurse comes, thus missing two classes, but a sub can't teach what I want taught. Fuckity.

Chalk up the eating out expense to mental health management. It's a small amount in the larger picture.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

So glad CJ made it home!

Within moral philosophy, they're still used entirely interchangeably. And, of course, in derivation they're simply the Latin and the Greek for exactly the same thing.

Actually my college course treated them differently, so that can't strictly be true. You have your own moral code, but your profession will hold you to an ethical standard. There was a whole section on what to do when they were in conflict.

Please lord let my boss's boss not be in my 10am. He makes them last forever.

Punishingly Intricate

okay, seriously, we've been asked to come up with a new name for the system we are redesigning but not use any vowels.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
