Um, I hate to say this, but my understanding is that they are mostly recruited. But in ways that mean the contestants are still surprised. So if you're doing pub quiz or whatever, beware of people asking you to be on a local TV show about iconic local places.

Okay, I have done an onerous task and emailed all the other contracting firms to see if they plan to respond to the RFP.

This is me, hermit. I did go into the office this morning, but was back home by noon.

I have been without my debit card for a week. Typically it lives in my wallet 90% of the time, sometimes visiting the outside pocket of my purse with the occasional visit to the back pocket of my jeans. I search high and low for a week and couldn't find it. So I went to my credit union and got a new card. On my way home from the office I stopped to get my car washed. I typically buy their coupon books and when I pulled that out, my debit card made a reapperance. But it is cancelled now and will need to be cut up. Blast.
