I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My grandmother had Mentos. I doubt she still carries them.

Because books.

One of my grandmothers always had Chiclets, which I now can't think about without thinking about Cindy's "it was square and it looked like a tooth" story.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

My grandmother had nonpariels in her room. I was such a brat--I would go into her room and pretend to smell them, so she would give me some. ::rolls eyes::

My mother still has the covered glass dish for hard candies, but nothing in it.

I ran this morning, and then went climbing, and out to lunch, and I have done nothing else all day other than nap and read.

My grandmother did not keep candy in the house, but we did get what she called a "chocolate covered" (Eskimo pies) for dessert.

My great-aunt lived to be 100, but I never met her, so unsure on her candy preferences.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My grandmother was all about the Milo and the harddo bread. And ceramic dogs.

I remember my great aunt Mamie arriveing from St. Pierre with boxes of French Pastries. Eclairs, meringues, cream puffs. They tasted odd to me because they had fresh cream and bittersweet chccolate. I was such a porcessed food child.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My grandma had those round tins of hard candy in her purse. I remember they were fruity and came in cute shapes.
