Oh, I just looked up the credits of the woman at the end of the table in that picture, Debbie Carrington, and she'd been on Buffy. And Bones too. And Nip/Tuck, Dexter, Drew Carey. She's a dwarf and it was very tricky trying to quick-step it through the skeeziest part of the Tenderloin with her last night.

Whoa! She was an ewok!
Heh. I was going to post that Darby spent a good hour playing with an ewok this morning. [link]
So I didn't get a new swimsuit today, but think I'm gonna have to go out during the week and remedy that because there's just too much slipping going on.
I got almost to Target before I realized I'd left my wallet at home. Kinda hard to do the week's shopping without a method of payment. So I was sick of driving by the time that chore was done and thus...no swimsuit.
Anyone watching Grammys red carpet? [link] (We're watching Avatar on the TV).
Mmmm. The nail place Plei gave me a gift cert. to was offering a 2-for-1 special of manicure/pedicure. The comfy chairs for the pedicures were massage-y chairs. And you get a free glass of wine.
I am relaxed.

That's a weird ewok synchronicity. That should never happen.
(Yub nub.)
That is indeed an awesome gift.
I don't have a mani/pedi, but I can at least rectify the lack of wine since I finished grading one paper set. And DH gets total Good Son/Good Husband props for taking the kids to see grandma and make Valentines while I graded.
It was a fantastic gift, especially considering that every weekend since my Mom passed away, I've been over at my parent's house helping clear out stuff. You know my tales of my Storage Room of Doom? Their whole house was/is like that.
So a mani/pedi with massage and wine? BRILLIANT. And soon I go put on fancy clothes, go have dinner, and then do a reading at my favorite restaurant.
I got some stuff done today--went in to the office, watered the plants, did the laundry and walked the dogs. Mostly I checked FB obsessively. My niece is in labor, so I am going to be a GREAT-AUNT shortly. WTF! My SiL had her daughter when she was 22, and her daughter is 20, so it isn't horrifying, but still. Don't great-aunts keep hard candies in a glass dish and smell of White Shoulders perfume?
