information libertarian

I don't feel barfy anymore but I have a fever and I'm all achey, and tylenol is not helping either. I am so rarely sick it is strange. I've been watching old Antiques Roadshow clips with the guy I co-edited my high school literary magazine with as appraiser of 19th century books and manuscripts, which is also strange. He looks and sounds pretty much exactly the same.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

because the bacon and croutons weight more than the spinach? or because there is a terrible conspiracy against vegetarians?

Happy Birthday Pix and Maria!

I feel very productive - worked ahead on the new ultra-crunched project today and have gotten as far as I can without further input from the editors. Fortunately, no one had further input for me as of 7:15pm so it looks like I get tomorrow off after all! (I will, of course, be paying for this next weekend when everything hits my desk and I have to work 13+ hours a day to keep up.)

hip deep in pie

I've managed to strain something in my quad? hip? pelvis? which is making it painful to walk. Which wasn't helped by spilling a glass of milk all over me and the chesterfield...and having to run around and get towels and take off covers before the milk soaked into the cushions. Sigh.

Also, it's snowed a little bit every day for the last week. not much accumulation, but no relief. These are definitely that dog days of winter. The days it's best to go elsewhere.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I told myself I would do some laundry today. I should do something about that, shouldn't I?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I think I'm getting post-nap headache.

Well Dana, I guess that means I have a pre-sleep headache.

New neighbors, who haven't even fully moved in, are on THE LIST.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh. Thank goodness it's been sunny here this week. It was killing me.

I've had a headache ever since taking my car in for emissions. It's annoying. Only would relent when I dove under 3 ft, which is usually the reverse when it is sinus crap, so I don't know. Meh. I'm not going anywhere tonight.
