I've had a headache ever since taking my car in for emissions. It's annoying. Only would relent when I dove under 3 ft, which is usually the reverse when it is sinus crap, so I don't know. Meh. I'm not going anywhere tonight.

I don't have to get up early tomorrow! For lo, I am on vacation!
I made myself dinner - some ravioli with a light tomato garlic sauce and some veggies. I've had maybe 3 bites and I'm pretty much done. WTF?
And, it looks like I need to work an hour or two tomorrow. Stoooopid checking work e-mail on the weekend and finding an e-mail request from my favorite project manager.
I have to go in to work tomorrow. I am not happy about this.
Oof, sorry about all those of you who have to work the weekend!
I just went and (thanks to Groupon) had my very first laser hair removal. OUCH OUCH OUCH. I think that hurt worse than my tattoo.
Are the results worth the pain, meara?
I don't know yet, Cash! You have to go for five or six sessions (every 2-3 months, depending on where it is--apparently face/head hair grows quicker than the rest of the body?) before they'll guarantee no hair (the place I went gives you a year of "if you see a hair, come in and we'll do it free" after that).
So, give me a week or two--I'll be interested to see what happens--and then give me a few more sessions. But generally, it's something I've been considering a long time and never got around to doing (I figure I have great hair/skin for it--dark hair, pale skin). I'm excited at the thought of never having to shave again...but I think the price is way too much without a groupon.

I had it some years ago and can comment. It feels like a snapped rubber band; the pain will be less intense on subsequent sessions. I should say you shouldn't expect 100% removal. If you imagine each session removes about 30% of the hair, the diminishing returns make it too expensive to get them all removed.
Belated Happy Birthdays, Pix and Maria!
I have issues with facial hair. mostly some that get ingrown very easily so I was considering this or electrolysis. Both are ouchy but I'd like good results.
