Thanks, flea!
Oh, and that dogsledding article about Girls Inc was fabulous! That seems like a great event.
Right?? I'm excited to see the "adventure sports" curriculum working out as they wanted it to -- locals are supposed to do whatever is local to them.
Huh. WLUW (88.7) has two women talking about Joss and lesbian vampires and whatnot. But I can't really hear what they're saying, because they're broadcasting from the restaurant I'm in.
L meant to get up early and go to the farmers market. Instead it's almost noon and I am still inmy PJs. I juet finished rereading Persuasion.
I may try to make the market anyway.
Hil, I can't work out if that would be ironic, appropriate, or if the two would cancel each other out.
I ate all the cheese in the world last night. Erf. Bad idea.
Off to sit with my mother while my dad goes hiking, and clip her little dog's nails (which is far more of a hassle than clipping my GSD's nails, let me tell you). And then come home and do more writing, and walk the dog.
Timelies right back!!
I fell asleep on the couch at 8:00 last night--so much for doing onerous closet cleaning last night. Then, I woke up on the couch at 4:00 am and couldn't get back to sleep, so I ended up cleaning off last night's show from the dvr and then decided to go for a morning swim. The pool was nicely empty of too many people at 7:30 on a Saturday morning, so I only had to share my lane with one other person for most of the swim (I had it to myself for about 8 laps total). Since I didn't have a friend to chat with, or have to worry about circle swimming, I was able to get my mile in 73 minutes, which considering my best time prior to this was 83, I was all Yay!! I know that tomorrow's swim will be long again, because I'm meeting my friend L at the pool, but that's okay.
I need to get cat food and deposit checks at my bank. I AM at least dressed....
I am trapped under the cat. No plans until later, but I should really clean the bathroom and shower and whatnot....
Happy birthdays to Maria and Kristin!!
