The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

What are people doing this weekend?

I started mine early by taking a personal day! Woot!

Since I did most of my Onerous Errands and Onerous Household Chores today, I'll be able to rest tomorrow and Sunday. Also, the temps are supposed to get up to 50 degrees or so, and I have every intention of spending a good amount of time outdoors.

What are people doing this weekend?

Tim is going on his annual we're-insane-so-we-camp-in-February-in-the-Midwest camping trip, and I have a cold, so I'm going to stay home with orange juice and garlic and DVDs.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I started mine early by taking a personal day! Woot!

Hey, me too! I also napped when I got home from a doctor's appointment.

Possibly we're getting sushi tonight, though, since he doesn't leave until tomorrow (which is our Kissaversary, and I am not guilting him over the fact that he's going camping with a bunch of stinky menfolk on the 5-year [FIVE!] of me attacking him with my lips) (well, maybe a little) (that could be the reason for the sushi) (I will take guilt sushi).

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Fringe Friday!

Shoveling, grocery shopping, cleaning, paperwork, reading a script. Sunday might be nice enough for a nice long walk. Monday I have a show opening.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

TEP! MEDICATION SANITY CHECK!

So I forgot to take my Celexa this morning, because I overslept. I switched to mornings for a reason recently, and want to keep taking it in the mornings.

Also, I'm vaguely curious about the evils of brain zaps.

Am I completely nuts if I don't take my missed dose now and just wait for tomorrow?

OMG, Steph, five years?!? REALLY?!? When did those go by, my god?

I'm going dancing (as I usually do on Friday night), but think I will also go get a cupcake, because I am craving like whoah.

Things I will apparently not be doing today because nobody has called me back: Going to the Peruvian Consulate for a visa. Grrr.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Brain zaps? This is a side effect I should not go look up, is it?

What are people doing this weekend?

Tonight, going dancing (for the first time in over a month. Let's see if I can go out and not cry! That'll be exciting.)

Tomorrow, another round of helping Dad clean and organize the house.

Sunday, farmers' market, a manicure appointment (thank you, Plei!), and then a GCS event & reading at one of my favorite restaurants.

I think after you've passed the 12-hour mark (like, if you take your meds at 6 a.m. and it's after 6 p.m.), then don't take it. But I personally will take my Wellbutrin late, but I am cavalier about drugs. If you wait until tomorrow, you're fine. Totally.

INORITE?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Tim is going on his annual we're-insane-so-we-camp-in-February-in-the-Midwest camping trip,

Hee. The bug has bitten both of our SO's. Mine is on his now. He came back midday all hopped up from canoe fishing with his buddies and hearing the ice creak, and needing supplies like, oh, say, firewood. But he's really happy to be outdoors. I think he's crazy, but I admire his toughness. I like the outdoors like anybody else, but I like it to not have such high odds on offing me.

This weekend: Massive stuff of stuffness! Okay, that's probably just me overplanning, like I always do when the SO's away. But I have this half-assed plan to clean out his studio. The last time I was gone on a weekend trip, I came back to a pristine office, and I'd kinda like to return the favor.

But I can feel this turning into the sort of task where, instead, he comes home to find me sobbing on the floor in the middle of a completely thrashed house. So I am aiming for somewhere in between. I'd like to have the basic housecleaning done, so things look nice for him. And I'm pecking away at the (significant) number of tasks with dependencies that would allow me to make his studio a really workable space. I would normally worry that it's invasive in his space, but I really think there's a lot I could do without worrying him, and then he can set up the rest to please him.

Also in this plan is sneaking the Marshall tube amp we just got donated into my office under my desk. He won't use it, and I totally would, so if I can make the space work, I'm totally kyping it.

Anyway. In onerosity news: 1. re-reconciled October to correct for account change, 2. laundered linens, 3. laundered clothes load one, 4. dishes, 5. cleared living room, 6. prepped tax docs, 7. bread is baking, 8. egg noodle dough is standing, 9. screwdriver is charging, 10. Rosetta Stone Navajo lesson, 11. attempted to rip twenty year old cassette tape to wav file. Fail. Will have to try with the studio later, 12. attempted to fix nails, fail. I err at the point where they are dry to the touch, but still dentable.

Still to do: Nov. re-reconciliation, letters, finish noodles, dinner, attic panel, begin media sort.

The one escalating thing is, I keep wondering if maybe I should just go ahead and set up one of the dormant computers as a media server.
