Suddenly I'm wondering what Fay is thinking.
Judging from various facebook and twitter postings today, many "OMG YAY!"s "finally!"s a buncha stuff in Arabic, and something about her cleavage tasting like gin and tonic.
I deduce that it's a good thing.
She posted a brief comment on FaceBook. Nothing in depth, mind you, but happily triumphant.

Got my blood tests back and my iron level is down at 15. The normal range starts at 40 to something around 150. No wonder I'm so fricken tired all the time. Iron supplements have not historically helped but my doc wants me to go up to triple the usual dosage. Blech.

Good luck with the supplements, Suzi. I hope they help. I know you already did the iron infusions once, like I'm doing now, and I hope you don't have to do them again.
My iron is at 10. How am I still upright?

That's a different test than they do at the blood center? Because on that test you only have to hit 12.5 or something to donate blood, but of course I don't know what any of it is actually measuring.

It probably is a different test.
I just could not tolerate the various things I was told to take to bring that number up and wonder how different I might feel if my iron was 'normal.' Then again, have low blood pressure and get by pretty well.
I had my 4th of 5 treatments yesterday, and I am still waiting to start feeling normal. I'm not sure I even remember what normal feels like.
