I've died and gone to heaven or slipped into a multiverse or something, haven't I?

If you have, I'm glad to see there is Internet connectivity.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Will do, rommytot. Or won't. I'm not sure which. I shall ponder the wisest course of action over a snifter of cognac.

Typo, I am in love with your new tagline.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

JZ, I certainly hope your new workplace continues to be this awesome! Even if it just eventually settles down to "regular good," it's nice that you're getting some payback for the madness in the old department...

So, garlic cloves (minced, sliced, chopped, whatever) for a cold: does it work? Enquiring sniffly minds want to know.

So, was the gist of Mubarak's speech, "Yeah, you know, I'm not going anywhere, kthxbai"?

If so, I'm afraid Egypt is going to EXPLODE (even more so), because I think the clear expectation was that he was going to step down. And since this is...NOT that, and there are all those people in Tahrir Square, there's going to be more than disappointment. There's going to be more than anger. I'm very worried.

Ann, that's a ferret.

So, was the gist of Mubarak's speech, "Yeah, you know, I'm not going anywhere, kthxbai"?

That's the impression I have, though it was hard to hear the translation over the speech itself.

I think Mubarak is ex-president walking (and have since he replaced his cabinet), but this (if correct -- TB may very well be right) means it's going to be really, really ugly. Coming down to which way the military goes.
