Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's very late but happy birthday, Suzi!

I'm listening to news stories from LAST April! Got a bit behind on my podcasts

I finally caved and admitted to iTunes that there was a lot of stuff I was never going to listen to and we should just accept that and adjust. Okay, I admitted that for a few things. Then I downloaded a bunch of fanfic to read on the plane and handwaved that I'd eventually get to the week's worth of podcasts and iTunesU stuff still there. Baby steps.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Thanks again for the birthday wishes. This community means so much to me. I know that in my travels there is likely a buffista nearby who will meet up for a meal, provide a ride, or even a couch. Buffistas have extended their kindnesses to my children, with airport pickups, answering hivemind questions, and so much more. Y'all have seen me through so much over the last few years and I always knew this was a place I could retreat to when I felt lost.

I was trying to describe Nilly to CJ and I told him I'd just have him read that chapter of Will the Vampire People Please Leave the Lobby. I love that I have something like that to share with him. Thank you, Allyson.

To sum up...I love you all. And good night.

I should just make a list of the URLs in all my fic tabs, and save the list, shouldn't I? and close the tabs so my poor, poor, overtaxed laptop could get some breathing room?

An historic day: snow fell, and the schools remained open.

Art Crawl!!!

Very impressive self-control from young master Noah, Kat. Poor kiddo.

Sara - lovely earrings and earring storage.

I was talking to a friend about all the gorgeous pottery on etsy and she had never heard of etsy. !!!

It's -10 here with a windchill in the -20s. I say this feeling pretty secure in the knowledge that it is probably even colder in Minnesota. Don't let me down, Minnesotans! It's nice to feel that n. Illinois is warmer than somewhere.

Poor Noah. Foiled again!

If billytea is around (or anyone else who might know the answer): My DH is off to Beijing in a few days, and I would like to know if the electrical adapter he needs is the same one we use for New Zealand?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Temp: -15˚F (-26˚C)

Windchill: -23˚ish F

It's good to know our suffering serves a greater purpose, sumi.
