Giles: I jump out of the circle, jump back in, and, and, shake my gourd. Buffy: Hey, I think I know this ritual. The ancient shamans were next called upon to do the Hokey-Pokey and to turn themselves around.

Art Crawl!!!

Very impressive self-control from young master Noah, Kat. Poor kiddo.

Sara - lovely earrings and earring storage.

I was talking to a friend about all the gorgeous pottery on etsy and she had never heard of etsy. !!!

It's -10 here with a windchill in the -20s. I say this feeling pretty secure in the knowledge that it is probably even colder in Minnesota. Don't let me down, Minnesotans! It's nice to feel that n. Illinois is warmer than somewhere.

Librarian Warlord

Poor Noah. Foiled again!

If billytea is around (or anyone else who might know the answer): My DH is off to Beijing in a few days, and I would like to know if the electrical adapter he needs is the same one we use for New Zealand?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Temp: -15˚F (-26˚C)

Windchill: -23˚ish F

It's good to know our suffering serves a greater purpose, sumi.

Makes me wanna move to Alaska. Juneau, mind you, where it is above freezing, not Fairbanks.

Apparently, just before I walked in, they set off *some* of the fire alarms accidentally.

I'm glad I missed it. May be losing internet shortly due to other work. Bleh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Temp: -15˚F (-26˚C)

Yikes!!

My current annoyance is that I guess I ruined the battery of my cell phone. Last month, I let it die completely when I was out of town, and since then, it loses the charge really fast and suddenly. Like, last night it showed most of the charge there, but this morning it was dead. Annoying!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

-6 in Chicago, with a windchill of -20 or so.

I couldn't find my second scarf, which I wanted to cover my face with. And I probably should have worn long underwear, and a better hat and gloves. So being outside for 10 minutes at a time is fine, but I could tell I was gradually getting colder. Ideally I try to dress so I can stay outside indefinitely, but not today.

Yeah, my inner 6-year-old was all, "Don't wanna go to work today."
