Loki is so cute! I kind of wish we had tried to leash-train the boykitties.
And by impressed, I mean depressed. It's horrendously juvenile writing.
And lacking in an editrix.
or a heroine addict slumping in a chair.
Plus that whole lack of humanity. But, damn, get an editor.
I'm partial to the Lokis, he's a purty kitty with amazing huge pupils which make him all the more cute. Luckily his personality matches. I was surprised to discover that Devi, at 13, now will not flatcat the harness, while she did the collar at 2. So you never know. She's too skittish for the greater outdoors, though. She's spooky inside as it is, outside, I might be bloodied by a cat climbing my to flee in terror.
I'm pretty impressed that this was published in a mainstream magazine. And by impressed, I mean depressed. It's horrendously juvenile writing. I'd really like to meet this woman, although I'd probably most likely just stare at her really funny.
I honestly don't expect better from a fashion magazine. I mean it's hurtful, hateful crap that she said, but I still am not surprised that a women's fashion magazine, whose revenue comes from advertisements for very-low-single-digit-size clothing is going to run something so overtly hateful towards fat people.
Those pumpkins are great! And Loki on the leash is too cute.
Kitten update: still cute, has successfully erased all my messages from the answering machine, will climb right onto my plate while I'm eating if I'm not vigilant. And still needs a name.
It's horrendously juvenile writing.I believe that's the same woman who wrote about the nerd speed dating thing Scola (I think?) was at.
She is a blithering idiot.
Need pictures! FTR, I've had luck with denying them people-food=not interested in people-food. But it takes work ( for me, commitment came after a 2 am epic barf after Devi ate a whole biscuit. Uhg.) and MK would climb onto my plate without bitchy Devi's presence. With Loki, it was just shoving, since Ms. Louise let him eat off her plate.
If I can remember how to get pictures from my phone to the picture I'll post a few. I don't remember my older cats being this aggressive about food when they were kittens, but that was 10 years ago, I might have just forgotten. This little one just has no boundaries at all. But good about the litter box, which is way more important to me.
I'm pretty cooked after that.
I know I've hit my limit swimming when my toes start to cramp up. I keep them pointed with the kicking, and they can only take so much pointing before they start to curl up and protest.
Loki is so great in that harness, and really seems to enjoy his walks! I'm afraid that if I tried to take Amarna out, she'd scurry up a tree as far as the leash would allow her, since she loves to shimmy up the side of her cat condo.
