Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wish I could find the buckly shoes from Sak's in my size. No dice, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am so scared to do my taxes. I will probably owe a lot, even though I've had them taking extra out of my paychecks. Stupid consulting and poor planning!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sitting in the Honda service waiting room as they replace my car's headlights. Eh, it's a recall job, so it only costs me some time. Next I'll be buying a backup drive and then going home to watch last night's SPN.

There's an ad on tv right now for Chrysler, talking about how much more luxurious and stylish America use to be back in (judging by the cars and clothes) the 30s and 50s. They're only showing white people. I feel like writing a sociopolitical rant about it, but I'm on my phone and the keyboard's not exactly convenient for paragraphs full of rant. So I'll just say "Hmmmm".

Woe to the fucking wicked.

My Federal refund covered my State debt and most of the software cost, so I came out of it about even, which was as much as I could reasonably hope for.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I don't yet have my W-2 from my old job. When I emailed about it, they told me I could get it by logging onto the ADp website that has our paystubs, but I am no longer an employee and my log-in doesn't work. Then they told me to get a new log-in I would need the last paystub that was handed out before going to this system. I have no idea where that is and I am not searching for it.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm not allowed to buy any more shoes until I get rid of some.

I wish I could impose that rule on The Boy. It's sort of hilarious how we have completely reversed the stereotypical gender roles, in certain situations -- I have indeed asked him, many many times, "How many pairs of black shoes DO YOU NEED?!?" I cringed the first time it came out of my mouth, but now I stand by it. Some day I will have to take a picture of his shoes, because it's comical. (Though, to be fair, he wears a lot of them, very often, so it's not like he impulse-buys and then tosses them in a corner.)

The status is NOT quo.

I need coffee recs. I want something to make at home that is smoky and not too dark. I am overly sensitive to coffee with the bitter aftertaste and can't stand that. I like flavored blends or regular and am fine with buying online. I'm willing to spend more to get something really good since I don't drink it too often and am trying to kick the expensive grab-coffee-at-store-on-way-to-work habit. So...medium or light roasts without bitter aftertaste recs--go!

well it is not coffee, but celestial seasonings Roastarama tea tastes smokey and nutty and not at all bitter to me. It's the only tea I really drink with milk since it tastes so much closer to coffee.
