Natter 67: Overriding Vetoes
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
website says $20 in N. Cal and $25 South. My main complaint with them is that they have a minimum order of 36-servings
Is this for SK? Because I couldn't find it spelled out anywhere on the website.
Admittedly, my one hesitation about ordering was that my current freezer is quite small.
So the front that rolled through Chicago (and took out my coworker's internet in Indiana) is rolling through overnight. It moves NE. Except right now, clouds are rapidly scuttling northwest. Getting sucked up into the front, I guess.
Yes, SK. I started an order as a guest to find that out. Pickup is free.
Eta: I'm more than a little intrigued by this delivery option. Food that shows up at my door is a good thing.
I did call about the delivery process, since it's at 3pm. It's apparently very well-packed (in dry ice I think) so that you don't have to be home to unpack it right away.
Randomly, I just noticed that Elisabeth Moss never says she gets migraines in that Excederin ad. So does that mean it was really just a between-big-jobs commercial gig? I guess so.
Loki's shredding the IKEA catalog. I'd do something about it but it's already in a field of shredded paper towel sheet. Let him have his fun, I'll clean it up when he's done.
Oh wait, now he's carrying the shreds to the rest of the room. Maybe I'll clean it up NOW.
bon bon, I can think of a few places, but they are all on my side of the hill: Larchmont Larder, Joan's on Third are both delicious. You can also get tasty meals from high end grocery stores like Whole Foods, Gelsons, and Bristol Farms.
We had stir fry tonight: green onions, celery, red bell pepper, summer squash, spinach, mushrooms, tofu.
I marinated the tofu in my standard mix of soy sauce, honey, srichacha and mustard.
While that was very tasty I'm thinking I need to experiment with some new sauces.
I think I've asked before, but what do you guys use to flavor up your stir fry?
