Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oh Suzi, poor Kbug. I'm sure I mentioned my ex who cheated on me, and I only found out because his little sister, my best friend at the time, had to tell me he was marrying the girl he cheated with. Then I got to meet her when they both came to see his family while I was spending the week with my then best friend.

Because books.

I like greens. And spinach and green beans and zucchini and tomatoes and corn and summer squash. Carrots don't do much for me, though. Oh, and bell peppers! I could eat bell peppers all day long.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I love brussels sprouts, but I think we should just date casually. So...F?

I fear broccoli, because it is the stinkiest of all vegetables when it goes bad in the fridge. For that reason, only frozen broccoli is allowed in my house, because I am a forgetful person.

Cauliflower doesn't taste like anything to me. It's totally filler. I mean, if you add a bunch of stuff to it, then it tastes like the bunch of stuff.

I'd marry a nice heirloom tomato, maybe, if it asked nicely. But I'm told that's a fruit.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mmm, you guys have me really longing for brussels sprouts.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Geeesh, DJ.

For the most part, she doesn't cross tracks with him. There are some family friends who we have known for 20 years, but they seem to have let us go to keep the friendship with his family. K-Bug used to hear from them occasionally, I used to call their son "my nephew", but she hasn't heard a peep from them in the last month. This is probably why. K-Bug figured it out cause she is FB friends with "my nephew" and he has posted congrats to the lying, cheating, douchebag.

Oh, Suzi, that is so sad.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Like broccoli and cauliflower if they are not overcooked.(I also like them raw) Haven't had brussel sprouts since I was a kid, and they were boiled, so yuck.(I suspect I might like them tossed with olive oil and garlic and roasted, but am not willing to put in the effort to do it myself)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's a hell of a lot of coffee.
