When I was at the Edward Gorey House it was mentioned more than once that he was a huge Buffy fan, though I doubt he owned every episode because he passed away before the show ended.
But he got to enjoy most of the really good ones in the first three seasons!
I love that he would start talking about The Golden Girls if an interview was going in a direction he didn't want.
JZ, you might want to send an inquiry about Sam to this children's store in RI. It's an adorable place. Poor Matilda. I hope she is feeling better soon, and that her parents and her both get some sleep tonight.
The fact that Edward Gorey was a Buffy fan gives me a huge happy.
Nonian, please be careful! That's scary and off-putting.
Tomorrow, I jump into a frozen Wisconsin lake for charity. The team's raised nearly $1000.
sj, thanks. Marked. I'm hitting CA stores first; then I'll tackle the other 49.
JZ, if you guys can put your hands on a humidifier, that's been helping over here, along with elevating the top of HKF's mattress a little by putting a blanket underneath. All our love and hugs to Miss M, from the land of congestion and the neverending cold.

I thought that might be the case, but I couldn't resist the urge to pimp that store. I used to live just down the street and I loved it. Plus they have delicious ice cream.
G amazingly does not have a cold to share with me this week, and he almost always does. He has asthma and just gets sick all the time.
Hoping Liese and her SO got to a safe, snug, warm, power-and-heat-having hotel and she hasn't popped in to say hi because she's still fast asleep.
I was! I totally slept in. I have no idea how the dog didn't jump out of his skin waiting for me to get up, but we are now up, and have had a nice romp in the snow, where we met another (unleashed!) but clearly trained and in the sight of his owner at all times slightly smaller than the Biscuit dog. And we made friends! And then had more romping.
And I missed hotel breakfast, boo, but I have leftover Arby's. So we're chillaxing until it gets a little warmer, then we'll have our buddy pick us up. Hopefully we'll be able to start at least one of the vehicles and figure out what's going on with the heat. At least the power's back, that's one of the four things dealt with.
HA!! All the book-reading Buffistas need to watch this NOW.

Ooh, and hotel internet access tells me that if you guys are waffling about the soda machine, Penney's has it on sale right now with this dealnews coupon code.
