"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

G amazingly does not have a cold to share with me this week, and he almost always does. He has asthma and just gets sick all the time.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hoping Liese and her SO got to a safe, snug, warm, power-and-heat-having hotel and she hasn't popped in to say hi because she's still fast asleep.

I was! I totally slept in. I have no idea how the dog didn't jump out of his skin waiting for me to get up, but we are now up, and have had a nice romp in the snow, where we met another (unleashed!) but clearly trained and in the sight of his owner at all times slightly smaller than the Biscuit dog. And we made friends! And then had more romping.

And I missed hotel breakfast, boo, but I have leftover Arby's. So we're chillaxing until it gets a little warmer, then we'll have our buddy pick us up. Hopefully we'll be able to start at least one of the vehicles and figure out what's going on with the heat. At least the power's back, that's one of the four things dealt with.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

HA!! All the book-reading Buffistas need to watch this NOW.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ooh, and hotel internet access tells me that if you guys are waffling about the soda machine, Penney's has it on sale right now with this dealnews coupon code.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In all politeness, fuck you, Liese, for forcing my hand.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Shit, I don't even care about fizzy water, but now I want to buy that!

But really, I just want to buy stuff. What I should do first is BRING BACK the Christmas stuff (a) I bought for other people and decided against giving them, and (b) I received that doesn't fit/I'll never wear.

Now tagless for your comfort.

That deal is seriously too good to pass up. Thanks, Liese!
