That's my girl, large and in-charge. Okay, teensy-weensy and in charge.

I want a fizzy water machine SO MUCH. But since I'm the only one who drinks fizzy water, I can't talk Pete into it.

Seasonal JoeJoes! I have half a box of the candy cane ones in the freezer. They are my treat for times of huge stress.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm fond of their root beer too.

I was there when Barq's was still a local brand. Only root beer I've ever liked. (Kind of like Popeye's -- good local brand turned into mediocre national brand.)

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I love the Stoned Taco Guy commercial. Mom and I have a bet for how long it takes some parents' group/Sarah Palin to start wigging out over it. I have TJ's enchiladas for lunch right now, AIFG. We only go about once a month...it's out of the way for us, but worth it for variety's sake.

Oooof, we have snow again. The weather report had said today was something like a 30% chance of snow. Now that we are close to being above freezing, it looks like we will have an icy morning.

Hivemind magazine question: who here is it that regularly gets Vanity Fair? Would you be willing to send me a page out of the Hollywood issue? [link]

(I don't want to buy the magazine just for that page.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think Dixie was a thing in the 70's but Abita is pretty much our beer now. I'm fond of their root beer too.

My friend Betty's brother was the founder of Abita Beer. He sold it a long time back, because he was one of those people who got in on the first wave of boutique gins.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I haven't been able to determine if fizzy water tastes just like fizzy water or if it tastes like soda water or something. Because I don't like soda water.

brillig

I'm supposed to be off of carbonation due to bone issues (looks at bottle of diet Coke guiltily and pops more calcium). Is the fizzy water folks are talking about the same thing?

Also, does it make you float and, if so, is there a giant fan overhead.
