Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's been better lately, I think.

The putting the murderer in a mental hospital so he'll be drugged out of his mind was a pretty mega douche move, but certainly one I'd consider, so I'm not that mad at him. I'm not really a nice person. And he was really nice to his daughter (breaking up with your boyfriend because he won't have sex and telling your father the truth!) and Foster.

I like the close parking spot. But I have shopping anxieties. It remains to be seen when they average out with parking anxieties. But if I can't find a good parking spot, sometimes it seems like a good excuse to not get out of the car, and I love those.

My replacement Nook came yesterday, and the UPS person didn't even knock, so it was outside the door all day. Grr. I could have had it set up by now.

I just dropped off my rent cheque, and now I'm sure I didn't sign it. I'm such a problem.

The developer who sits behind me moved. I'm the only person in my team in this aisle. I kinda like it and I kinda don't. I'm sure it won't last.

I'll repost the picture.

Ooh, cool, if you still have it.

information libertarian

I'm gonna be a Trader Joe's heretic and say that while there are great things I like there, for regular grocery shopping it just does not work for me. We don't eat much in the way of pre-made foods, and I end up buying a lot of treats when we go there (expensive cheeses, candy) and I still have to go to the Kroger for staples anyway. So I am on a "once a month" TJ's schedule. (There are some things from there that are staples for me now - Blenheim apricots, petite peas, french green beans - but none of them need to be bought more than once a month.)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

was a pretty mega douche move,

I didn't think that was douchey. I thought that it was deliciously evil and fitting.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Louisiana should be (and is) Abita. No one drinks Dixie.

Yeah, and they didn't even have DC on the map! WTF?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I very much dug Lie to Me last night. The look on Lightman's face when he admitted he loved Gillian was wonderful.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh, me neither. I mainly use them for snacks or frozen stuff/simmer sauces to keep around for "emergency" meals. I think I'd shop there more if I were single and not cooking for a family.

Ann, that's a ferret.

No one drinks Dixie.

I guess times have changed. When I was in college, it was the beer of choice.

I wouldn't do my regular shopping there, not enough selection. OTOH, I cook for myself a lot, but there are a lot of wonderful options for people who don't/dont want to cook. I love their frozen bags of pasta, and their wine :)
