Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

After an hour, I'm sure some of the adorable wears off.

She was far enough away that I wasn't bothered. When her mother carried her past my desk I noticed she had a hat shaped like a cupcake!

No, that's all TJs. Add careening kids with non-attentive parents on weekend afternoons, as well. It's the combo of the awkward real estate they occupy plus I think a super spacetastic clientele. Or entitled, I don't know. It kept me away for a long time, until their crack addicted me in a location close to me and with better parking. (Since I used to live in a huge jewish community, I'd go friday nights. It'd be almost empty, for a TJs.)

And then I moved and am back to the one with the super obnoxious people and horrid parking.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cinammon tea and freshly baked brownies coming up! I am excited!

Mmmmm, TJs has this milk chocolate-nut cookie that I cannot keep in the apartment, or I will eat the entire container. It's like a Heath bar, in cookie form.

I like their steak burritos and red salsa. Their frozen mac and cheese is pretty good, too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's supposed to get below zero tonight.

I just heard sirens go off. Like civil defense sirens. What is this, a Yeti attack?

Code blue warning?

Snow cyclone. It's the logical next step after blizzard and thundersnow.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

There's very few kids at the TJ's by me, but it's tiny and hard to navigate so it probably amounts to the same thing. And I go there on the way from work so unless I've been late or done other errands it's usually packed.

I don't particularly want to work from home another day

I so do, but I've been pushing the boundaries of my WFH recently anyway so I kind of need to go in.

I'm meeting a friend at Flattop Grill on Wabash tomorrow (expiring Groupon) if you want to join us.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I was so glad when the TJ's in Alameda opened. It was very close, had much better parking and more reasonable clientele than my previous TJ's.

Now, I am without TJ's. It is sad making. I lurve their Maple Cookies. Last time Kelly came out she brought some ginger covered cookies - I don't know what they are called - but they were delish. She said they had come packaged with some chocolate covered, choc/peanut butter covered, and peppermint covered cookies. But the ginger were the bestest.
