They let the schools out early here, which I just think is a terrible idea. I mean, I'm sure many parents can't get back from work or where ever in time -- it didn't sound like there was much notice.
Once again, I am hoping for a snow day tomorrow! But if we're open, I'm here. I just wish I trusted the van driver a little more....
I hate to admit it, but I'm a little jealous of the Snowpocalypse.
Grace was less angry by the time we got to her today. But they'd only let one of us up into the recovery room at a time. So I sent Katie and continued to read the nook instead. Now I'm bedside and she is fast asleep. When bothered, she gives you a very angry look with her orca eye.
ALSO I think the fentanyl works wonders for angry in-pain kids.
It works for adults, too. Poor noodle.
Olivia is skating around the kitchen in her new, birthday derby skates. She's already asked me when we can go skating.
Good to hear about Grace!
Happy bday, Olivia! What a great present! OH! That reminds me, Cashmere, did you send invitations to something called "Shop it to me?" I got something that says it's from you.
OK, I get to go home. I think I will nap.
From radar, it looks like Chicago is about to get hit....
Yay for Grace! And happy birthday Olivia!
ION, our landlord has just noticed that we've been withholding a small portion of our rent for four months now. This despite the fact that we've enclosed a note every month with our check, saying "Here's a list of the repairs we need you to make [which we have repeatedly asked him to make for well over a year now]. We will happily pay you the money we owe you once those repairs are underway." SHOCKING that in the voicemail he left for M, he didn't mention the repairs. Grr.
Thanks for the info, folks!
Huh. Now they are letting us go at 3:30. I'm not sure what to do about that, since I'm sure my shuttle will be on its regular schedule.
