hip deep in pie

It's the same writer for both, Kat. But DA is much more traditional in it's story telling.

I love Gosford Park.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, DO watch, Kat! It's lovely, and I think it's the good things from GP distilled into an engrossing and amusing several hours of TV.

I can't WAIT for Season 2.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

IO9 has redesigned. It's awful, and their testers should be shot.

But how do you REALLY feel, ita?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

See! Univerally rave reviews!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

AAA called, should be here by 2:30? Well, we'll see -- and I'll keep my coat handy, as I'll have to take them back up the street to the parking space....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I haven't watched any of DA, but I have it on the Tivo and I was worried because of the Gosford Park connection people keep making. But everyone raves about it.

It's kind of amazing how distinct the characters are, given how many of them there are. Possibly because most people look pretty different from one another, and each character can basically be summed up in a phrase.

The post about the new design is FILLED with bitching and complaining comments. So much shit is broken, it's not even funny. And that's not counting what functionality they removed. Thank god the old site is up and running at another URL.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I am home! And it has started snowing but not blizzard levels yet. I didn't go to the grocery store yesterday, but I did go to the gas station and they were nuts. Cars deep waiting to fill up.

I really enjoyed DA. Quite a lot.

~ma to Grace and Kat.

not your mom's socks.

ita, sadly I think their "testers" are the ones sending notes and corrections back in the comments right now. Freesourcing at its worst. Agreed that this is horrid.

I'm also loving Downton Abbey. The last ep of the season was beautifully done. Now if only someone would make me a bunch of those clothes, I'd be set.

DJ, I didn't say yesterday, so sorry for your loss.
