Mid-South-istas: How do driving conditions look for tomorrow in your part of the country?
The rain and thunderstorms in Arkansas should be over by then, but they're predicting a drop into the 20s tonight and tomorrow - could result in icy roads. Also, winds of 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30, which would be extra dangerous if things ice over.
Bad accident on freeway + rushed request for us to report earlier = frantic morning.
~ma to Grace!!
Happy birthday to Olivia!
Fred, they should check the weather for the NC mountains, specifically around Asheville.
Happy birthday, Olivia!
Surgery~ma for Grace.
Weather~ma for them as need it (and so much gratitude that we escaped it this time).
I just went to the grocery store; it was pretty crowded for a Tuesday morning. Lots of people stocking up on Diet Coke and whatnot....
Last night's news had the usual report from the local grocery store. One Jewel on the north side was reporting that they had all the registers going, and the line was seven deep for hours in the afternoon and evening.
Last night I went to the Dominicks on Clark (the one a block south of Howard) at 5:45. It was kinda' busy but not too bad.
Is that the one across from the Whole Foods? I drove by it on New Years Day with my friend Tami, who lives up there, while we were heading towards the movie theatre in Evanston.
