I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It does kind of seem like Mary took away Edith's one shot at happiness, but Edith's letter had such a widespread effect. They were both so mean and so wronged. I was glad that the dowager came down in favor of moving bodies for your daughter, and that O'Brien's conscience got to her, even if it was too late

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Everyone, stay safe and warm! And if you even think you might lose power, I recommend taking a shower and doing your dishes. From painful experience.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

smonster is here, and she brought me flowers, a card, dinner, groceries, a hug from her sister, and cookies! I gave her Lulu's toys for Frankie, and her leftover Pill Pockets. Also, she's going to bring all of Lulu's cans of dog food to the local doggie boutique for their donation bin.

Combine that with the pizza Calli brought me last night when she came by to say goodbye to Lulu, and the Aranciata my neighbor A. brought when she came by to do the same (plus my Xanax and Ambien) and I'm SET.

Everyone, just move to NC. It's really the only answer. We may not have everything, but we have (mostly) good weather.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I have older sister issues that tie into my reading of Downton Abbey. But, honestly, only the youngest was a decent human being.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Question for the hivemind: Why are there stupid people and how can we (legally) kill them?

My stove is at least gas so I can heat water. Furnace is electrical ignition, unfortunately.

Because books.

Everyone, just move to NC.

I thought about it! I almost came down to look around!

This winter, though, I'm thinking KEY. WEST.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Everyone, just move to NC.

Kambriel would be SO HAPPY with me if we did. But no, I'm trying to convince her & her boy to move to the PNW.

Yeah, Key West sounds just about right.

And I hear they're demonstrating by our old house in London. Back when we lived there, during the Falklands war, we were down the street from the Argentinian ambassador. Now it seems Mubarak's sons have moved onto the same street. What was Jamaica even ever doing there?
