I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'll give that to Mary, that she was at least guilty, but as far as I can recall, the middle sister basically started the war, and she went really really far in what she did to further it.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I just watched the third ep and was coming here to burble before watching last nights!

I am loving it sooo much.

I'm teaching "A Room of One's Own" and showing "Iron Jawed Angels" in conjunction with it to examine whether or not the vote or financial independence was more important to women's independence, and if I thought any of my students would watch it, I would offer massive extra credit to anyone who watched DA. It's highlighting some of the issued so well!

And it turns out my sister pissed of Nadine months ago and was scared to tell me about it. Hmmph.

Because books.

"Iron Jawed Angels"

God, I loved that. Mostly for the clothes, but also for Molly Parker.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, I think Mary started it when they hit puberty. She was always so awful to the sister! I actually really like that both of them had good and bad moments.

I'm sure they always had a horrific rivalry going on. But taking it out in public was a big step, and didn't middle sister challenge Mary over something?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It does kind of seem like Mary took away Edith's one shot at happiness, but Edith's letter had such a widespread effect. They were both so mean and so wronged. I was glad that the dowager came down in favor of moving bodies for your daughter, and that O'Brien's conscience got to her, even if it was too late

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Everyone, stay safe and warm! And if you even think you might lose power, I recommend taking a shower and doing your dishes. From painful experience.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

smonster is here, and she brought me flowers, a card, dinner, groceries, a hug from her sister, and cookies! I gave her Lulu's toys for Frankie, and her leftover Pill Pockets. Also, she's going to bring all of Lulu's cans of dog food to the local doggie boutique for their donation bin.

Combine that with the pizza Calli brought me last night when she came by to say goodbye to Lulu, and the Aranciata my neighbor A. brought when she came by to do the same (plus my Xanax and Ambien) and I'm SET.

Everyone, just move to NC. It's really the only answer. We may not have everything, but we have (mostly) good weather.
