We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You're rooting for other sister? I thought she was a stank bitch, and I'm glad it was ruined for her with the old guy. Okay, they were both pretty bad, but still.

My sister just pissed off a local celebrity. This chick I went to school with was really nasty to me and raunchy in general. She used to sit in the locker room with no panties on and yell "Fresh fish! Fresh fish!" My sister thought that was okay to repeat to her at a book signing (not hers) and apparently not. Nadine denies ever having done so and got really mad.

Except the anecdote is through me, so apparently she's mad at me. Whatever. I haven't seen her since I was 12 and she was a bitch then, although she's sworn since then that I was wonderful and she liked me. WhatEV.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They both definitely had their stank moments. At least Mary actually did the thing she got narced out about.

Many condolences to you, amyth.

Not looking forward to an icestorm. I'd take the snow any day. Don't want to find out how my aboveground power supply does with ice. Nononono. If I suddenly go super dark in the next few days, it'll be cause I lost power, as I'm fairly sure my router needs electricity. Though I do have a dialup number somewhere... Ahrg.

Brought the laptop home in case it is already bad in the morning, but if not, I'll go in until the radar tells me to get out.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Downton Abbey! Bates + Anna 4ever. Also, the two sisters are both awful in their own ways. Sybil rules and one can hope she ends up with the nice and smart Matthew.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah! I love Mr. Bates, too. Aw.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'll give that to Mary, that she was at least guilty, but as far as I can recall, the middle sister basically started the war, and she went really really far in what she did to further it.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I just watched the third ep and was coming here to burble before watching last nights!

I am loving it sooo much.

I'm teaching "A Room of One's Own" and showing "Iron Jawed Angels" in conjunction with it to examine whether or not the vote or financial independence was more important to women's independence, and if I thought any of my students would watch it, I would offer massive extra credit to anyone who watched DA. It's highlighting some of the issued so well!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And it turns out my sister pissed of Nadine months ago and was scared to tell me about it. Hmmph.

Because books.

"Iron Jawed Angels"

God, I loved that. Mostly for the clothes, but also for Molly Parker.
