A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

and then they even ruin the campy enjoyment part.

Oh, not in SF where it's treated as a camp classic on a par with Valley of the Dolls.

ION, this cover of "Steady as She Goes" (Raconteurs) by Corrinne Bailey Rae is pretty good.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So at 11:30 tonight I went to the apartment above me and asked the woman to turn her music down. She said she was sorry but then she complained about me playing loud music at 1:00 PM today.

Now she has her music off but she's talking very loudly (almost yelling) and is keeping me awake.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

This is one thing I do NOT miss about living in an apartment. That, and I don't miss looking for parking less than three blocks away from my house.

I do miss maintenance men, however.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

First set of the Men's final is now over. We're finally getting a cooling breeze through here (temperature was up to 40 degrees today).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wonder if I get espn2 at the hospital? I could have it on silently.

I hate brusque doctors. Don't have patients if you aren't even going to try and be human.

Score! ESPN2 on mute. Weird seeing Federer ads. Well, he still rocks.

Still disappointed Federer isn't in this match. Recent moment: Murray to serve, member of the audience shouts out "FREEDOM!!" I wonder how often that happens to him in an average match. (Murray then aces the serve. Well done, thou good and faithful Murray. )

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Not having insurance in MA means that you get a fine, not that you don't get treated at all. It's not even that substantial a fine. And there's a sliding scale that means that substantially low-income people end up paying nothing.

Not in this case, as the noise still keeps me awake.

And now they're playing loud music early on Sunday morning. Oh well.

eta: Perhaps I need better earplugs.
