Tonight: Rubber Duckie Party.
Should I ask?
My neighbor can't have a party without a theme and today is Ernie's birthday.
And that girl from that show a lot of us like!
And the hot chick from
Transformers
! No, the other one.
I was interested in the show when Josh Friedman was doing it. Millar and Gough, not so much.
A little late to the woot party but WOOT WOOT, PERKINS!!!
The Angels look vapid.
Then again, when haven't they? I'll look. But I'll be snobby about it.
Are you geeky enough for this shirt?
Was there a tax thing that started this year that made people's paychecks increase somewhat? Because when I checked my direct deposit today, my paycheck was somewhat higher than it used to be.
(We are still off on Fridays, so I can't just check with the person who handles our pay stuff. And we didn't get our pay stubs yesterday, so I don't have anything to look at to figure it out. So I thought I might ask here.)
I have a vague recollection of hearing something on NPR in the last week or so of 2010 about a tax thingy that, if it were pushed through, would give a small decrease in taxes (and therefore a small increase in take-home pay) on people's paychecks. Or maybe just people who work for small businesses?
Dang, if we just got our paystubs yesterday, this would be simple to figure out.
A girl I went to high school with has a song in the new Statham movie! She said she "sings her song" in the movie, so I'm unsure if she's performing in a scene or if the song is just used. Still, I find it mega-cool!
I have a couple of questions about freezing stuff:
1. I opened a bottle of wine last weekend when I was making stew, but never drank the rest of it. Can I freeze it now for later use in cooking? That seems like something I've heard of.
2. If I'm going to make zucchini bread out of frozen shredded zukes in my freezer, do I thaw it first?
Thanks for any advice.
Yes, there was a payroll tax reduction this year. I don't think it's only small business, but I haven't been paid yet this year.
Here she is performing the song @ HOB NO. [link]
Jesse, 1. I've never done it, but I hear people do; 2. yes, or at least unfrozen enough so you can, you know, mix them into the batter.
