Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I can vaguely imagine washing one's car once a week if you are a)somewhat OCD about your car or b) live in a very salty environment.

Me? I haven't washed my car in a couple years...not since the last big snow storm. i noticed moss growing on my car yesterday, so perhaps i should spring for a drive through tomorrow.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

You can tell he's a hybrid, he's environmentally friendly and gets great mileage.

Oh dang, billytea, you just made me snort!

I agree that washing the car once a week is crazy talk, but I definitely need to start washing my car A LOT more often.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I should wash my car when it starts getting my clothes dirty. But I don't.

Because books.

I think dirt is partly holding our car together.

Or, hell, Space Invaders. Who doesn't love Space Invaders?

Sometimes I miss Pong. And Asteroids! I loved Asteroids.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

My dad used to make us wash the van every week in the summer. I was too young to remember what he did about that during the summer. I tend to let the rain take care of casual dirt.

I will say that no one should deprive themselves of the good time that is going through the car wash! So fun!!

Ooooh, there is one about 10 miles from here, that has the fun neon(ish) lights, so it is really cool to go through it in the dark. I know this only because Daniel had a coupon to use it, and we went through in one of his cars last year.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Onerous task for today: reformatting citations. Onerous task for tomorrow: reformatting citations: onerous task for some days to come - yeah you guessed it.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

She'll be ok, but I do wish we'd had the foresight to tell her to burrow in in DC or here.

me too. My house is 10 minutes from her office, so it would have been easy for her to crash until to snow let up or the roads cleared.
