We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

shrift, I'm so sorry for your loss.

{{amyth}} I hope your week improves, and that Lulu gets better soon!

Everyone on the East Coast, be careful driving out there!!!

Oh, and sarameg, I'm up to 24 laps in the pool, but I'm still having cramping problems; my legs were really stiffening up by lap 20, and I had to stop every length and stretch them out to get to my goal of 24. I'm going again tonight, and I hope I can do 26 with fewer leg issues.

Good going, Kathy! That a really impressive ramp up.

Wendy's again or something else?

We can talk about it later, and see.

Calli, backflung.

Just got into an hour-long phone conversation about criminal background checks. It's going to be that kind of day. And then I turned off my computer by accident by kicking my power strip. But I haven't set anything on fire yet, so we're good.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Way to go, Kathy! So proud of you.

Just got into an hour-long phone conversation about criminal background checks.

Wut. I'm scared to ask.

My onerous tasks for this evening are: pay bills, submit FSA reimbursement claims, and maybe migrate files from my external hard drive to my Mac.

Dear MS Word: you continue to suck hard core. No love, moi

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, go you, Kathy! I still haven't been arsed to see if the pool is back open. It surely is by now.

Onerosity: engage! You will note how I dawdled getting in here this morning to avoid having to check in and start onerousing.

Yesterday on the way to work I bought a fruit smoothie. I didn't open and drink it until we were about an hour into the drive. It had an odd consistency, so I shook it again, and took another sip. Nope, still bad. Checked the date. It was 20 days past the expiration date! By the time we got an hour and a half into the drive, it was clear it was making me sick, so we turned around and came home. Three hours in the car for nothing, and the rest of the day spent in bed with combined menstrual and food poisoning gastrointestinal distress. Thank goodness for rice cooked in chicken broth, that's all the more I'll say about that.

Anyway. So it's good today is onerous task day, because I need it. Task goals: year end reports, clean freezer, put away socks, clean bedroom. But if I just get the first done, or close to done, I'm calling it a good day.

Well, I should be able to manage socks, too.

Kathy, you rock.

Wut. I'm scared to ask.

I'll tell you later. You know my job, so you can probably figure it out, or close enough. WHO DRIVES ME CRAZY AND WOULD SEND PEOPLE TO CAMPUS OF DUBIOUS CHARACTER WHO MIGHT, IDK, STEAL THINGS AND GET CAUGHT? Yeah.

I have lots of socks to put away, too. Weird. Damn socks.
