Yeah, she already told me there would probably be delays, but it sounded like it started earlier than expected, so I thought maybe it would end earlier too.

We weren't supposed to get snow until tonight, and apparently it started overnight instead. We have three or more inches already, it looks like, and they cancelled school.
I have to say, if it keeps snowing at the rate it is now, we're going to be buried. I can't believe they didn't cancel school for you guys, Sox.
I can't believe the amount of mucus my body is producing. Also, thank goodness I talk to the fellow van-riders now, because I thought I was just hot on the ride in because I have a fever, but a colleague confirmed it was really hot in there. Next time I'll say something.

I called in and spoke to one of our favorite teachers, who said that a lot of people had used their best judgement. The information they had at 5:30 and 6 was that it was all going to be washed away by now with rain. Um, no, not so much. I have a feeling that the Philadelphia school system didn't close, and thus many of the area schools didn't close. Which is going to make for some fantastic radio call in shows later in the week.

yah. totally.
Perkins, it seems like it will be done by midnight here, but if you want to keep track, the Capital Weather Gang is great: [link]
Thanks! I will definitely look at that later.
Ouch. We have no weather to speak of here, but I did just get a call from Sox's area from some guys on my team trying to fight their way through to a client meeting. Ugh.
I fly through DC tomorrow on my way home from Miami. I am so hoping for no snow delays. Hope your sister arrives safely and smoothly, Perkins.
We just got a lot of rain. Now it's damp and dreary, with a thunderstorm heading my way. But I'm working from home, so I don't much mind it.
